A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
It seems like the battle… the war will never be over, and now, Rhys and Feyra have to help her sisters heal and acclimate to their new situation.
The ongoing battle with the King of Hybern and his alliance with the human queens makes Rhys and Feyra’s dream for unity and peace seem impossible. Still, The Night Court’s Court of Dreams will stand and protect until the bitter end.
In A Court of Wings and Ruin, Rhys and Feyra race to stop Hybern and the world’s destruction. Prythians make the ultimate sacrifice, and we must wonder who is a friend and a foe?
I confess that I started A Court of Wings and Ruin immediately after finishing A Court of Mist and Fury, so my impressions of this book are a bit murky. It is daring, emotional, stressful, and wonderful. I cried and cried sometimes. I wanted to throw my Kindle across the room. I stopped housework to read. I stopped sleeping. I was not disappointed.
I cannot write about this book without dropping significant spoilers… because I want to discuss details so badly, so this review is short. You know what I mean if you have gotten this far in the series A Court of Thorns and Roses. Get the books. Get them all. Just do it. If you love fantasy, romance, and suspense and don’t read this series… and get to this book, you are truly missing out on book life.
