Rival Hero by Jackie Walker
Klein and Mia in Rival Hero are my favorite characters in the Regleg Series so far! Jackie has written a complex story with humor, heat, suspense, and a lot of heart. I laughed, cried, and cheered this couple on their journey, and don’t be disillusioned by the fact this is a romance novel. It is so much more than a simple romance. These characters live and breathe, love and hurt, laugh and cry. I was delighted to read this story, and I can’t wait for the next one.
I highly recommend Jackie’s novels, but be forewarned. Her characters curse… often a lot, and her sex scenes are not for the faint of heart. You have to enjoy pretty graphic language on all levels. Still, her characters are believable, loveable, and very much alive in her universe.
